Great Basin Emergency Training (GBET) is proud to provide American Red Cross Instructor Trainer Certifications. These certifications give participants the knowledge, training, and hands-on experience necessary to teach classes, or even start your own CPR business. Instructor Training Class Overview

This course will train instructor candidates to teach basic-level American Red Cross First Aid CPR and AED courses. In order to participate in this course, you must possess a current basic-level American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED (or higher level) certification or equivalent and be at least 16 years of age on the day of the class. Class will begin with an evaluation of the skills learned in the basic-level First Aid/CPR/AED course. Next, participants will learn the policies, procedures, and expectations set for instructor candidates. The rest of the class will focus on learning and developing teaching strategies. Participants will be assessed based on their ability to teach in a simulated environment. Certifications are valid for 2 years from the issue date.
